I love taking naps, but usually have a hard time falling asleep in the middle of the afternoon even when I’m really tired. Research has shown that the gentle rocking of a hammock induces a deeper state of sleep than a stationary bed.

Hence, it was the logical place to review my past goals and achievements and ponder new targets for the coming year.

I find my hammock to be an amazing stress reliever.

As I close my eyes and feel its calm rocking motion, I immediately feel relaxed.

I just spent the last hour lying in my hammock in our garden writing down my goals for the coming year. Because it’s the most relaxing, therapeutic, inspirational, and thought-provoking space I know.
